Our footballers lose out on the Roinn B U15’s County Title

Well done to St. Martins who won the Rionn B championship this evening after a good tough game against Young Irelands Gowran in Muckalee this evening. Both sides took their time to settle and it was an even contest between two committed teams. 3 Goals by put St Martins ahead at half time by 3-05 to 1-02. Another goal early in the second half to extended St.Martins lead. Young Irelands then had their period of dominance but some great defending by St Martins and a brilliant save from goalie Luke Cahill ensured that St Martins took the title on a full time score of 4-08 to 2-05.

Thank you to our boys on getting to the county final (after beating Kilmoganny, Thomastown, and Clara in the semi final) and management team of Michéal Kelly, Niall Byrne, Ian Kelly & Declan Murray.

School Football team capture the Roinn B title

Great win for the boys Gaelic Football team to capture the Roinn B Schools title. Great performance by all involved to get over Tullogher in the final.
The boys now also have a Country Cup final to look forward to next week after their win against Thomastown yesterday. Congrats to all involved!

The Junior Panel who won the Junior Football League with victory over Railyard B on a scoreline of 5 – 8 to 2 – 5 at St Martins GAA Grounds, Muckalee.
